Previously known as Holly’s Cuvee, this wine weaves together Chardonnay from all three heritage blocks on Spring Ridge, planted between 1981 and 1982: Bee Block, Home Block, and Amphitheater Block.
All three blocks are picked, pressed, and aged separately. After about a year in barrel, the three block-designate wines go to their bottles, while the Holly’s comes out of barrels, is blended in tank, and returned to stainless-steel vessels for another 6 months of ageing.
A deeply layered aromatic profile evokes richness and sophistication without sacrificing freshness, florals, and fruit. The palate is prismatic, showing different sides in different light - acid here, depth there, a trace of savory umami and salt, and fresh squeeze of juice there. A long finish that is compelling and engaging.
Due to limited quantities of this special wine, 2024 Holly’s Reserve is only available to Neely Club members, starting October 23rd.

“…tremendous power and beauty wrapped within a sugar cookie-like richness that’s bright in acidity and dazzling in anise and forest-like earthiness.”
