2025 Lucy’s Rosé of Pinot Noir
The Wine
Rosé showcases the bright, pink version of red fruit - strawberries, raspberries, a cherry pie. On the palate, a sorbet quality, cool and fresh, and a floral pop at the end, like a fresh handful of wildflowers, or fruit tree blossoms in high spring.
The Vintage
The 2025 vintage growing season started early, but a cool summer shifted the ripening pattern and harvest started and ended later than expected, with occasional rain. Heat spikes were brief and moderate. Vines took their time, allowing for longer, slower development that yielded layered, complex wines with depth and polish even at relatively modest sugar levels.
Tasting notes: raspberry, nectarine, wildflowers, fresh cut grass, plum blossoms.
